| Le suivi surfacique des herbiers de zostères du Bassin d'Arcachon (a été entrepris en 2007 (pour Zostera noltii) et 2008 (pour Zostera marina). Pour Zostera noltii, cette cartographie a été réalisée par photo-interprétation d’une mosaïque d’images de résolution 1 mètre. Ces clichés IGN, orthorectifiés et georéferencés ont été acquis en août et septembre 2007. Un important travail de validation terrain a permis d'attribuer des indices de fiabilité aux cartographies obtenues. | The worldwide decline of seagrass meadows may result in the loss of relevant ecosystem services such as the carbon sequestration within marine ecosystems. In this paper, net primary production (NPP) of Zostera noltei meadows was assessed in the Arcachon Bay (SW France) with the aim of understanding the impact of meadows decline on C sequestration capacity at a basin scale. Net growth rates obtained by means of a year-long leaf-marking experiment (2005-2006) were coupled to interannual biomass measurements (1983-2010) to obtain a direct estimate of NPP. | Zostera noltii colonise en Méditerranée des baies abritées et des lagunes présentant des conditions abiotiques (e.g. atténuation lumineuse et salinité) très variées. Les zostères constituent des herbiers étendus et stables à Thau (Gerbal et Verlaque, 1995) qui est une lagune profonde et bien connectée à la mer (salinité peu variable). Dans le Vaccarès, moins bien connecté à la mer, cette espèce a présenté un développement important entre 1984 et 1996, alors que la salinité (moyenne annuelle) variait entre 30,1 et 4,8 (Grillas et Auby, 1996). | Le projet DIETE a exploré les données hydrobiologiques (paramètres physico-chimiques, nutriments, phytoplancton) acquises depuis les années 80 dans les eaux côtières au large de la Loire et de la Vilaine, parallèlement à celles des deux fleuves. | The aim of the present study was to identify environmental factors that could explain the distribution of different pathologies of commercially exploited intertidal bivalves in an Atlantic lagoon, Arcachon Bay. In particular, the role of the salinity gradient as a driver was explored. The Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum experienced two severe pathologies, perkinsosis, which is due to a protozoan parasite, and brown muscle disease (BMD), the etiological agent of which remains unknown. | La forte augmentation des mortalités de juvéniles d’huître creuse depuis 2008 a relancé la problématique de l’approvisionnement en naissains de l’ostréiculture française. | De 2009 à 2011, le captage à Arcachon fut particulièrement mauvais. Des pontes tardives associées à de faibles quantités de larves “petites” indiquaient un problème probablement au niveau de la maturation ou de la ponte. Le programme FéLiBA consiste en un zoom, pour l’année 2013, sur la Fécondité des huîtres creuses en Lien avec la qualité de l’eau du Bassin d’Arcachon. Ce programme s’est traduit par différentes actions de terrain. | An inventory of the marine macrophytes introduced into the Arcachon Basin has been carried out through an exhaustive bibliographical analysis complemented by several sampling campaign made in November 2005, July 2006, February and December 2007. As a result, 22 introduced species have been listed. Nine of them are new to the region, and Herposiphonia parca and Pterosiphonia tanakae, are recorded for the first time from the Atlantic Ocean. | Suite à l’événement de grande ampleur d’efflorescence d’Alexandrium minutum et des toxicités associées en Rade de Brest en 2012, un projet a été élaboré avec la Région Bretagne dans le cadre du développement du port de Brest. | The spatial variability of seagrass meadows in Arcachon Bay, was studied between 1988 and 2008 using a combination of mapping techniques based on aerial photographs for intertidal dwarf-grass (Zostera noltti) beds and acoustic sonar for permanently submerged eelgrass (Zostera marina) populations. The results show a severe decline over the period for both species, as well as an acceleration of the decline since 2005 for Z. noltii. | A three-dimensional model coupling physical and biological processes for the whole Than lagoon (Mediterranean coast of France) was developed in order to assess the relationships between macrophytes and the oxygen and nitrogen cycles. Ten species have been inserted as forcing variables in the model. Plankton dynamics, shellfish cultivation impact and mineralization of organic matter are also considered, as well as nutrient and oxygen exchanges between the sediment and the water column.
